As part of our knowledge and understanding of the world, we celebrated Chinese New Year. It is the year of the snake so we practiced our cutting and collage skills, by making our own snakes. We played with chopsticks in the role play kitchen and had a go at writing Chinese numbers and letters. We finished the week by listening to Chinese music and tasting Chinese food – some children tried something brand new which was very brave!
