Times of school sessions
Morning 8.55 – 12 noon
Afternoon 1.05 – 3.15 pm
All children are required to be in school by 8.55am for registration. Children in Early Years will line up and be brought into school by their class teacher at 8.55am during the Autumn term. Parents of children in Years 1 and 2 can leave their child with the class teacher from 8.45am. Once all the children in Early Years have settled into school they can also be left with their class teacher from 8.45am. We will let you know when this will be.
We ask all parents to send their children to school in our school uniform. We believe it helps to foster a good working attitude and encourages pride in belonging to Locks Heath Infant School.
Monday to Thursday
From Monday to Thursday children come to school in their school uniform each day. They will need to have in school a PE kit to change into as required during the day. All tops can be plain or with our school logo.
Friday - Year 1 and Year 2 only
The curriculum on Fridays follows a planned programme including outdoor learning and additional PE activities. There are also workshops on problem solving in maths, music making and independent reading and writing times. Please send your child to school wearing trainers (preferably velcro fastening that you do not mind getting muddy!) navy blue jogging bottoms, a plain white or blue.t-shirt and a school sweatshirt.
Locks Heath Infant School partners with 'AJ Embroidery' who can embroider your child's uniform should you choose to. Please see the forms below, complete and send into school with cash or cheque to order.
School meals are cooked on the premises and are free to all children at our school. Children can also bring a healthy packed lunch to school.
